Some years ago, the cities that wished to consider themselves as being “modern” did away with the trams on their streets. This was the time of the “boom” in private transport.
Happily, our collective conscience and our view of the sustainability of our world has led to cities once again installing tram networks, which complement the underground train networks (where these exist) and town bus services.
From the beginning, Intraesa has taken part in the reintroduction of the tram system. The first city to do this was Valencia in 1994 and following that we have participated in the building of other tram networks.
